Madonna Sticky Sweet

Madonna launched her Sticky and Sweet Tour in London over the weekend to mixed reviews. Some people loved it and some people thought she didn’t do enough of her hits that people know her for. I just wondered if she’s gotten too buff?? What do you think?

She just turned 50 last week and seems determined to prove that 50 ain’t nothing for her.

Lindsay Lohan is looking pretty hot in her latest photo shoot to promote swapping clothes. She is did the shoot for the Visa fashion swapping event for ethical fashion. She says its pretty cool to be able to refresh your wardrobe without it costing you anything.

For one thing, she looks better than usual. For another, I’m sure she doesn’t want to spend anything on clothes considering she’s had so much trouble holding down a job. I’m really kind of surprised that she’s still working at all.

Athina Onassis

Athina Onassis was once known as the ‘richest little girl in the world’. Now she is an adult, married, alienated from her father and auctioning off some of her mother’s jewels. Her people say that she feels the jewels ‘belong to a different era’.

The jewels are expected to auction for about $16 million. She doesn’t need the money. She the sole heir of her grandfather, Aristotle Onassis, immense shipping fortune. She estimated to be worth a couple of billion dollars. She just doesn’t want the jewels any more.

Apparently, she doesn’t have a sentimental attachment to the things her mother had. Or maybe she has other items she values more. Who knows. She can and always has been able to do pretty much do as she pleases.

Kate Middleton

The Queen of England is telling Prince William that Kate Middleton has to get a job and actually work before they take any steps towards marriage. The subject of Kate Middleton’s lack of employment since she graduated college three years ago. She’s piddled with this and that, but she’s not actually been employed. She seems to be focusing more on a career as Princess in Waiting as opposed to seeking out any other career paths.

At 82-years-old, the Queen maintains a full work schedule and is said to feel strongly that people should work. She also is said to feel strongly that the Royals should set an example of hard work. She doesn’t quite know what Kate Middleton does with her time and doesn’t want a public relations problem that might be caused by having a Royal WAG on William’s arm.

So she’s laid down the law to William. Kate gets a job. Period. Oh, and she has to actually work the job for more than a month or two (which has been her pattern).

I guess time will tell if the Queen will be able to influence Kate to do more than wait for Prince William to ask her to marry him.

Big Brown has a lot in his favor going into the Belmont Stakes on Saturday. And now, he has drawn the #1 slot. Twenty-three Triple Crown winners have broken from the inside slot. Big Brown is undefeated and a huge grand horse. He will be tough to beat. So tough that he is getting 2-5 odds for the Triple Crown.

Its been 30 years since there has been a Triple Crown winner. If Big Brown wins on Saturday he will join Seattle Slew as the last undefeated horse to win. Seattle Slew won the Triple Crown in 1977.

Keeley Hazell

Keeley Hazell is featured in the July 2008 issue of Nuts. If you are a bloke and are interested in Keeley, you might want to rethink those leather sandals, get excess hair on your back and shoulders waxed, don’t wear a speedo unless you are built like Beckham and have enough of a ‘package’ to fill it out and learn how to build a shelter and hunt food on the off chance you are stranded with her on a deserted island. Oh, and in the case you are stranded with her, you need to know how to rub in sun protection lotion. I know, its a job you’d hate, but that’s what she wants!

Erin Wasson had to attend the 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards with a broken leg. So what’s a supermodel to do? Well, you do it in style, of course! You pimp out your crutches, pull on one gladiator sandal and put a braided dohicky-thing on top of you head.

Ah, hell. Who cares. Show off the legs and no body will notice whatever that is propped up on her head.

Christina Aguilera is caught dirty dancing with a female friend at LAX Nightclub that Christina owns a part interest in. She obviously was enjoying the night out with her husband and friends. At one point, she took her friends head and rubbed her face in her breasts. No word on how the friend felt about that - but everyone looked like they were having a good time.

Boating is a big part of our summer since we live near the Great Lakes. I’ve seen my share of crazy driving on the water, especially around holidays, but really most anytime. I have seen my share of driving boats under the influence of alcohol and accidents that result from that.

People take driving a car under the influence seriously, but many people associate boating with partying and think nothing of drinking while they are boating. Amy Winehouse showed up over an hour late for her first concert since she got out of rehab. She apologized to the crowd of 90,000 in Portugal for being late and then proceeded to stumble, mumble and fumble her way through her 55 minute concert.

At one point she fell on the stage. At another point she told the crowd, ‘you love me but I’m such a mess’. And that might have been the most honest thing she said all evening.
